At SIPP DRAWING STUDIO you will find online drawing classes with step-by-step instructions and demonstrations of drawing techniques that will help you observe and document your flower and nature finds. Each drawing class builds upon the previous one with the goal of building your knowledge and skill to where you can draw realistic flowers and other natural elements in a botanical style.
Throughout this creative process I offer positive feedback on your progress, successful tips for working through stumbling blocks, and methods for using photographs as a point of departure. If you have ever wanted to start a sketchbook or visual journal, now is the time!

Free Nature Journaling: Getting Started ~ Online/Self-Paced
SIPP DRAWING STUDIO offers FREE Nature Journaling: Getting Started class. This class is suitable for anyone new to online learning or Stephanie’s teaching style. In this class you will get a feel for her teaching methods and information about the range of drawing and nature journaling classes available at the studio. It will also give you a chance to see how easy and rewarding online education can be!
THIS CLASS IS RECOMMENDED, though not required, for other SIPP DRAWING STUDIO classes.
Introduction to Nature Journaling: Online/Self-Paced
PERFECT FOR THOSE WHO ARE NEW TO DRAWING and NATURE JOURNALING!
Learn to draw with video lessons you take at your own speed. This course is packed full of information to help you get started creating your own nature journal. It begins with introductory botanical information about basic flower identification, and provides a great list of nature reference guides. The drawing portion of this course begins with an introduction to color theory and then a series of drawing video lessons will introduce you to simple methods for learning beginning drawing skills and for adding color using artist-grade colored pencils. The course includes two drawing topics - the Sweet White Violet and the Pansy. For each topic you will find inspirational videos, strategies for overcoming typical obstacles, and supportive downloadable materials.
Stephanie is also available by email communication for additional drawing support instructions and feedback.

Nature Journaling: Flowers ~ Online/Self-Paced
Learn to draw garden flowers, wildflowers, birds and travel scenes in this series of online courses. Each course provides video lessons with easy-to-understand drawing instructions, detailed and interesting information on the drawing subject, and downloadable support material. Artist-grade colored pencils are used as the color medium. Email communication with Stephanie is also available for additional drawing support instructions and feedback.
Each course covers a single topic. You can purchase a single course for $30 or a bundle of 3 courses for $79.
